Academic Reading contains three long texts. General Training Reading has three sections: everyday texts, workplace texts, and a longer general-interest text. Both have 40 questions in 60 minutes, including entering or transferring answers. Completion tasks have their own word limits; there is no single fixed number of answer gaps for every test.
